Liller Marbles Community Center Cold Weather Shelter is open to the public

Officials with the City of Monroe say they have a cold weather shelter open at the Liller Marbles Community Center.

According to a press release, there are currently 15 people housed at the shelter, but there is room for at least 50.

Monroe Police officers have dropped off blankets as well as donated blankets from Officer’s homes.

There are plenty of cots and food to go around and officials say they are following COVID-19 guidelines.
