Lieutenant Governor tours Duck Commander

WEST MONROE, La. - Drawing tourists and dollars is always easier if you have more than one stop.

Louisiana Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser sees the latest Duck Dynasty spin-off as just such a magnet for our area of the state.

Duck-Commander, the tour, promises more than artifacts from the reality series.

You can go on a virtual duck hunt, and check re-creations of some familiar backdrops of the Robertson family's adventures.

"....It's already been a great asset to attract people to northern Louisiana, and we're excited about taking this message--spreading it around the world and telling people about northern Louisiana," says Lt. Gov. Nungesser.

Duck Commander's web-site already promotes attractions around West Monroe, from Landry's Vineyard, to the Twin City Pawn Shop, to Haskell's Donuts, the Ike, and Malone Stadium at ULM.
