The Natchitoches Police Department has responded to numerous complaints such as this over the past several months. In most cases, police get the same story, – “nobody saw anything”. This particular case was different. Citizens got involved and provided officers with what information they could. This provided the police with what they needed in order to identify a suspect, and take him in to custody as well as get one more weapon off of the streets and out of the hands of children.
The Natchitoches Police Department extends its gratitude to those willing to step and help us to help them and begin to rid their frightened neighbors of these threats.
