Local News

Join the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana for a family friendly lunch event and support the Food Bank’s fight against hunger in our community.

A sampling of signature dishes from multiple area chefs will be served, accompanied by music, activities for kids and adults, and a silent auction.

Hope Anderson, Owner of Health with Hope, will be making a delicious Butternut Squash Soup that will be offered at the event.

With the price of an inclusive event ticket ($30), guests can choose a beautiful bowl crafted by a local artist to take home as a reminder of all of the empty bowls in Northeast Louisiana.

There are also event only (no bowl) tickets available for $15 for those who would just like to come and enjoy the food and activities.

The goal of Empty Bowls is to raise awareness for hunger while also raising critical funds to provide food assistance to the 1 in 5 people struggling with hunger in Northeast Louisiana.
