(1/14/19) New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees might just become the first quarterback age 40 or over to win a Super Bowl, and he’s celebrating in style.

After an important win Sunday in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome against the Philadelphia Eagles, Brees made his way Uptown to get an early start on his birthday celebrations.

The quarterback turns 40 Tuesday, but Brees’ friend and former teammate, Zach Strief, decided to host a birthday party for the quarterback at Port Orleans Brewery, which Strief co-owns.

The who’s who of the black and gold and other notable guests showed up for Brees, just after he sent the defending Super Bowl champions, the Eagles, back home with a loss.

Silvercloud Trailer Events, which had its airstream photo booth at the party, posted photos of the celebration, including a shot of the quarterback’s 40th birthday ice sculpture.

Check out this video from the the celebration.
