(7/26/18) Three local law enforcement agencies have teamed up in an investigation that has landed a Downsville man in the Union Parish Detention Center at Farmerville on bonds totaling $135,500.

Ricky Alvin Ellerbe Jr., 33, of 4200 Hwy. 151, was booked Monday (July 23) on three counts of illegal possession of stolen things and three counts of being a felon in possession of firearms.

Union Parish Sheriff Dusty Gates said law enforcement officers from UPSO, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office and West Monroe police teamed up in making the arrest.

Recovered during a search of Ellberbe’s property was a 2002 model Honda CRF450 motorcycle valued at $2,000; a Stihl trimmer valued at $250; and a hydraulic vehicle lift valued at $3,500.

Also recovered at the residence were three firearms including a rifle, shotgun and pistol.
