Donald Trump is expected to be in Baton Rouge Friday, a confirmed source tells Local 33/Fox 44.

Public service commissioner Eric Skrmetta said Monday that someone would be in Baton Rouge to campaign for Republican John Kennedy.

The source said the Secret Service notified the Louisiana State Police of Trump’s planned trip, but did not give any specific details of his agenda.

Kennedy is in a run-off with Democrat Foster Campbell for the open U.S. Senate seat held by David Vitter.
