CenturyLink donates more than $63K to 14 Louisiana schools

CenturyLink is awarding more than $63,000 to 14 Louisiana schools as part of its Teachers and Technology grant program.

CenturyLink is awarding $1.4 million to fund more than 330 projects across 34 states to enhance educational opportunities across the country.

The Teachers and Technology program, which has awarded nearly $11 million since its inception, awards grants of up to $5,000 per project to schools in CenturyLink’s local service and corporate locations on behalf of pre-K through 12th grade teachers who have developed plans to innovatively implement technology in their classrooms.

The Louisiana schools receiving grants are:

Choudrant High School

Union Parish Elementary School

Mamou High School

Grace Episcopal School

Lexington Elementary

Ouachita Christian School

Ouachita Parish High School

Oberlin High School

Plain Dealing High School

Sterlington Elementary

Sterlington Middle School

West Monroe High School

West Ouachita High School

West Ridge Middle School
