WEST CARROLL PARISH (KTVE/KARD) — Officials of the West Carroll Parish Police Jury issued a new burn ban for West Carroll Parish on October 18, 2023, which prohibits all outdoor burning in the area. The burn ban is effective immediately and until further notice.
According to officials, the lack of adequate rainfall and numerous grass fires are the contributing factors to the fire danger.
