Boil advisory lifted for Cadeville Water System customers

Cadeville Boil Advisory 4/15/19

Update:

(4/29/19) The Louisiana Department of Health/Office of Public Health rescinded the boil advisory issued by Cadeville Water System. The samples were cleared on April 17, 2019.

This boil advisory recission affects customers on Mt. Pleasant Road and Caples Road in Ouachita Parish.

(4/15/19) Two seperate water mains were struck by lightning over the weeknd and have now caused supply problems for two water systems.

The Eros Community Water System and the Cadeville Water System have both issued limited boil advisories for some of their customers.

Customers of the Eros Community Water System on Lapine Road, Kilpatrick Road, and Durwood Crowell Road are under an advisory.

Customers of the Cadeville Water System on Mt. Pleasant Road and Caples Road are under an advisory as well.

Samples from both systems have been sent to the Office of Public Health for testing and once cleared, the boil advisories will be lifted.

If you are affected, remember to boil your water for one full minute before use.
