LITTLE ROCK – (4/10/19) Arkansas lawmakers have given the first formal okay to spending more money in the next budget year.

The Joint Budget Committee has voted to raise spending by $124 million dollars.

Most of that would go to Medicaid and public schools and closely mirrors the plan Governor Asa Hutchinson detailed back in November.
