(4/25/19) Deputies say a burglary suspect was injured and three other suspects are in custody after an attempted break-in and shooting.

The Garland County 911 Communication Center received a call about a possible burglary in progress at the 1300 block of Thorntown Ferry Road around 6:30 Wednesday morning.

The caller told authorities that multiple people were trying to break-in through the back of the house, according to a news release. The caller also told officials her husband had exchanged gunfire with the suspects.

Officials say Kevin Coleman, 22, is the burglary suspect that was injured in the shooting.

Garland County deputies later found Justin Quindt, 24, Andrew Heatherington, 33, and James Freet, 25, near the crime scene.

Freet, Quindt and Heatherington are being held in the Garland County Jail, and each face Aggravated Residential Burglary.

Coleman was taken to a hospital, and will also be charged with Aggravated Residential Burglary.

The investigation is still ongoing. If you have any information, call the Garland County Sheriff’s Department at 501-622-9660.
