The 21st Annual Spring Market has arrived and promises shopping, food and fun all for a good cause.
The event brings together over 80 vendors, shops and restaurants all inside the Monroe Civic Center for three days of fun.
It’s a major fundraiser for the Junior League of Monroe allowing the group to support projects in the community.
The the “Shop Til You Drop” held Friday morning kicked off the festivities.
Junior League members say the money raised will help support their charitable causes throughout the year.
“The Junior League of Monroe uses the proceeds to fund all of our community outreach,” said member Joann Powell.
Programs that go to a variety of good causes including the supporting the youth.
“We give out scholarships we help kids at schools that may not have the resources some other kids do,” said member Talitha Elliott.
The spring market will end on Sunday. Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door.
