UPDATE: MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — Monroe Police have released pictures of the robbery suspect and his car.

If you can help police identify the man in the pictures below, you are asked to get in touch with Monroe Police at 318-329-2600 or Crimestoppers of North Delta at 318-388-CASH (2274).

UPDATE: MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD)(July 20, 2021 4:38 p.m.) — Monroe Police say they have a description and more information about what happened.

According to police, this all started around 3:30 p.m. when a 250 pound black man who stands about 6’2″ tall walked into the bank and demanded an amount of money that has not been released at this time.

Police say people were still inside, but no one was hurt. The suspect left the bank on foot and is still at large.

There is no official word yet on what happened. We have a crew on the scene.
