WEST MONROE, La (KTVE/KARD) — Former Arizona State quarterback Jayden Daniels has committed to LSU, sources confirmed to The Athletic. ESPN first reported his commitment.

Daniels started 29 games for Arizona State over the last three seasons, In 2021, he finished with 2,381 yards but only had 10 touchdowns to go with 10 picks.

Daniels was a four-star recruit out of San Bernardino, California, ranked as the No. 2 dual-threat QB in the 2019 recruiting class, according to 247Sports.

Daniels will be eligible for spring practice and is expected to arrive on campus in the next few weeks, sources confirmed.

LSU’s first spring practice under coach Brian Kelly begins March 23, 2022.
