Suspect wanted for May shooting in Church Point arrested

Curtis Guidry was arrested on two counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder, according to jail records.

Guidry was wanted for the May 23 shooting that happened in Church Point.

At that time, Guidry was identified by witnesses as one of the shooters in a report of shots being fired on MLK Drive, authorities say.

Although the vehicle the victims were driving was hit twice, no one was injured, according to the original report by police.
