Coronavirus in Louisiana: State now reporting 127,246 total cases, 4,028 total deaths

BATON ROUGE, La. — The Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,303 new cases and 50 new deaths on Thursday.

This update brought the total number of cases to 127,246 and the total number of deaths to 4,028 for the state.

In Northeast Louisiana, there were 185 new cases and 7 new deaths reported. Ouachita Parish is still reporting the most cases and deaths in our area with 4,709 cases and 109 deaths.

Today, the LDH reported 2 new deaths in Ouachita Parish, 4 new deaths in Lincoln Parish, and 1 new death in Richland Parish.

Here is a list of local parishes reporting cases and death:

  • Ouachita Parish – 4,709 cases, 109 deaths (65 new cases, 2 new deaths)
  • Franklin Parish – 875 cases, 17 deaths (15 new cases)
  • Lincoln Parish – 754 cases, 28 deaths (10 new cases, 4 new deaths)
  • Union Parish – 669 cases, 33 deaths (17 new cases)
  • Madison Parish – 601 cases, 6 deaths (5 new cases)
  • Richland Parish – 577 cases, 7 deaths (17 new cases, 1 new death)
  • East Carroll Parish – 514 cases, 1 death (13 new cases)
  • Morehouse Parish – 479 cases, 11 deaths (12 new cases)
  • Winn Parish – 410 cases, 7 deaths (9 new cases)
  • Jackson Parish – 368 cases, 18 deaths (2 new cases)
  • Concordia Parish – 300 cases, 8 deaths (2 new cases)
  • Catahoula Parish – 276 cases, 5 deaths (3 new cases)
  • West Carroll Parish – 277 cases, 5 deaths (2 new cases)
  • La Salle Parish – 268 cases, 2 death (9 new cases)
  • Caldwell Parish – 207 cases, 2 death (4 new cases)
  • Tensas Parish – 68 cases, 0 deaths (no changes)
