(3/27/19) The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has released the daily schedules for this year’s fest.

The most notable change to the schedule was Johnny “Secret Agent Man” Rivers replacing Jerry Lee Lewis.

The Rolling Stones will hit the stage on May 2 at 5 p.m.

Katy Perry will perform April 27 at 6 p.m.

Festival organizers also announced that a very limited number of tickets to the Stones performance will be released Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Tickets will be available for $250 at www.nojazzfest.com and www.ticketmaster.com.

Pending availability, tickets can also be purchased in-person at the Smoothie King Center Box Office.

All general admission Jazz Fest tickets are subject to additional service fees and handling charges.

A small quantity of second weekend VIP packages will also be released.

General admission tickets to all other days of Jazz Fest are still available.

Regularly priced, single-day tickets to Jazz Fest are on sale by specific weekend, with each ticket valid for a single day’s attendance other than on May 2.

“Locals Thursday” is on April 25, when tickets purchased at the gate will cost only $50 for Louisiana residents who present valid identification, up to two admissions per resident.

Additional details are available at the Festival website.

Non-Louisiana residents will have to purchase day-specific tickets for The Stones for $185.

It will also be a limited-capacity day, and tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

This is the 50th year for the popular festival in New Orleans, which has drawn numerous local, national and international acts over the years.

The festival is also adding an additional day to its two-weekend stretch.
