PHOENIX, Ari. (WVLA) – (4/18/19) Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé premiered at midnight Wednesday on Netflix. The highly-anticpated documentry debut was paired with a surprise live album release.

Queen B not only stole the show but was also a part of every aspect behind-the-scenes.

The two-hour documentary covers a span of 15 months and gives viewers an inside look into what went down leading up to the iconic Coachella headliner performance.

The film not only includes clips of “Beychella” but actual interviews with Queen B herself.

The star talks about her desire to attend a historical black college (HBCU). She explains why she thought it was important to pay tribute to institutions’ traditions.

Clips of HBCU bands and black music were heavily intertwined in her Coachella performance. In addition, Beyoncé held exclusive private screening premieres at top HBCU campuses.

One key song the Homecoming documentary zeroed in on was the famous hymn, “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” During part of the documentry, Blue Ivy starts to sing the famous hymn next to her mom.

Also in the documentary, Beyoncé talks about the unexpected delivery of her twins, Rumi and Sir Carter. The star described the struggle of having to “bounce back” after an emergency C-Section.

The star even shared her strict post-pregnancy diet that cut out bread, meat, sugar, dairy, and alcohol.

This regiment had Beyhive fans completely shook.

Other scenes of the documentary include cameos of Jay-Z and others.

Overall, the reaction to the documentary has been nothing short of what you’d expect.

The iconic performance pyramid is still left standing on Coachella grounds.

I think it’s safe to say, Beyoncé’s Coachella takeover will not be forgotten.
