Railroad Makers and Music Fest to be held April 8

All aboard for Railroad Fest! On April 8th, be a part of the evolution of Ruston Makers Fair into Railroad Makers & Music Festival. Featuring a wide variety of regional musical talent and art!

Headlining the inaugural Railroad Makers & Music Festival will be the Seratones from Shreveport, La. and Louisiana Soul Revival featuring Doug Duffy from Monroe, La. The festival will also feature bands Big Head, Montague, Supernaturals, Goofy Boots and more. Live music will begin at 3 p.m. in Railroad Park, located on Park Ave. in Downtown Ruston. Attendees can expect a range of music that includes alternative, indie and rock ‘n roll.

The Makers Fair portion of the event will still be at the Historic Fire Station parking lot in Downtown Ruston from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Over 100 artists will be set up with works ranging from handmade items, jewelry, woodwork, apparel, paintings and more.
