Butter is showing up everywhere these days-in pastries, waffles even cocktails.

The Ag Department says Americans are forecast to eat a whopping 8 percent more of the stuff than last year, reaching 940,000 metric tons, almost the weight of three Empire State Buildings. That’s the most since at least 1967.

Bloomberg says butter is now being pitched as a more wholesome alternative to margarine and trans fats.

ABC News is headed to trial over a report on U.S. beef after a judge refused to dismiss the case.

In the 2012 report, beef was called ‘pink slime’.

Beef Products, which makes the item that was the focus of the report, says it cost them 1.9 billion dollars.

Oil had its 7th straight day of declines.
