Morning Meteorologist
Chase Ward is from Halls, Tennessee where he graduated valedictorian of his class at Halls High
School in 2016. Chase graduated in May 2020 from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor
of Science degree with a concentration in professional meteorology. He was also a member of
the East Mississippi Chapter of the NWA & AMS and a member of FarmHouse Fraternity.
Chase started his career as the weekend meteorologist at WABG/WXVT The Delta News in
Greenville, MS from 2021 to 2023 where he was involved with the coverage of the EF-4 tornado
that ripped through Rolling Fork, MS in March 2023. Prior to starting his career, Chase
worked for Chick-fil-A Dyersburg for four years and Chick-fil-A Elkin for one year. He has been
with KTVE/KARD since May of 2023.
In Chase’s free time, he enjoys watching football, and baseball, and rooting for the MS State
Bulldogs (Hail State), the Dallas Cowboys, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He also enjoys horseback
riding, duck hunting, and fishing.
