It has been named Tropical Storm Fernand by the National Hurricane Center. As of the 6:45pm CDT advisory, the storm is moving west at 12 mph. It has a minimum pressure of 1003 mb and max sustained winds of 45mph.
It is forecast to strengthen slightly before making a Mexico landfall by early Monday morning. This storm is expected to weaken and gradually dissipate across the Mexican landmass, posing no threat to the U.S.
