WEST MONROE, La - Scattered showers will be sticking around today and tomorrow but we won't see as much rain as we have seen yesterday.
A warm front has also surged northward, bringing very warm and humid air back to much of the southern United States over the next several days.
For the weekend, high pressure aloft will likely build back in across much of Texas and the northern Gulf. High temperatures will likely stay in the low 80s. Morning lows will stay in the mid 60s.
Another cold front could approach the region by mid-week next week, but it's still too early to determine any potential impacts.
