WEST MONROE, La - We had a fairly sunny start to this Sunday as temperatures felt fairly cool before warming up around lunchtime. Nate, now a tropical depression, did not bring us much rain thankfully and will continue to move northeast.
Expect afternoon scattered showers for Columbus Day as highs will reach the upper 80's and low 90's. Thankfully, this summer-like weather will not continue this whole week. A cold front will temporarily cool temperatures off and lower dewpoints to the 50's for Wednesday through Friday. The end of the work week will feel amazing under mostly sunny skies thanks to a high pressure system.
