WEST MONROE, La - Near seasonal temperatures are expected to accompany bountiful sunshine across the ArkLaMiss as is what we had for our Veterans Day, but a slow warming trend is expected through much of next week.
High pressure continues dominate keeping much of the eastern half of the country cool and dry. While similar conditions are expected through the weekend, temperatures will climb a few degrees daily.
The warming trend continues through most of the next week. High temperatures will climb back into the mid 70s by Wednesday. Morning lows will likely return to the low to mid 50s by then.
Our next cold front will bring rain Friday evening, but in regards to timing and amount, it is still too early to tell.
