Showers moving in later today

WEST MONROE, La. - Good Wednesday morning! It's a pleasant start to our Wednesday as temps are in the mid 50's with a few clouds and sunshine as you step outside. A light jacket or rain jacket would be a good idea to pack today as we should be seeing increasing cloud cover and some rain showers pushing into the coverage area later on this afternoon in southern Arkansas and continuing through the overnight hours further southward. High temperatures today will be topping out in the upper 70's with winds from the west. By sunset, rain should begin to fill into northern Louisiana and continue into early Thursday morning.

Overnight lows will be falling into the lower 50's across the area. Rain will gradually clear out of the area before sunrise tomorrow from north to south with only a few showers leftover tomorrow morning. Winds will be shifting from the northwest. Most spots across the ArkLaMiss will be seeing rainfall totals around 0.25".

Tomorrow we are going to wake up with a few showers and overcast skies and rain chances will hold on through the first half of the day. By the afternoon skies will be gradually clearing out and highs will be hitting 70°. Winds will be from the northwest.
