Weather Forecast- Tuesday, September 12th

WEST MONROE, La. - Good Tuesday morning! It's a cool morning outside across the ArkLaMiss as clouds and light showers push in from the northeast. Today will be a gloomy day, as skies are going to be overcast with light showers through the day. The cloud cover and light rain will keep temperatures much cooler than normal this afternoon. Highs are only expected to top out in the upper 60's to lower 70's. Highest rain chances in our coverage area will be in extreme SE Arkansas and NE Louisiana. For areas north of I-20 and east of Hwy 165. We will all be overcast, as winds are going to be from the northwest at 5-15 mph. Any rainfall accumulation will be light, up to 0.1"-0.25".

Overnight the clouds are going to be sticking around. Rain will slowly clear out as low temperatures drop down near the upper 50's.

Tomorrow we will experience gradual clearing throughout the day. We will have a cloudy start that will make way for some sunshine in the afternoon. Temperatures are going to warm up into the low to mid 80's and winds are going to shift from the southwest, slowly signaling the return of humidity. Rain chances are low, any showers will come early in the morning as we dry out by the afternoon.
