WEST MONROE, La. - Good Monday morning, it's a mild start to the day with temperatures sitting in the mid 60's across the ArkLaMiss. We're starting out dry but monitoring SW and southern Arkansas for some shower development throughout the morning hours. Rain chances will continue through the morning and afternoon as it looks like the best chance to see some rain will be the area north of I-20 as a frontal boundary pushes south. A stray thunderstorm or two is possible, but nothing severe is expected. South of the interstate those rain chances should be a bit more spotty during the day. Temperatures are going to be topping out in the low to mid 80's today with winds out of the south. Skies will be partly cloudy.
Overnight lows are going to be falling down in the low to mid 60's with light winds and no chance for rain.
Tomorrow we are looking at the chance for scattered showers returning. If anything a spotty shower or thunderstorm will be possible through the afternoon hours. Temperatures will be topping out in the lower 80's winds winds out of the south.
