Weather Forecast- Friday, March 17th

WEST MONROE, La. - Good Friday morning and Happy St. Patrick's Day! It's a mild and cloudy start this morning as those temperatures have only dropped into the upper 50's to lower 60's overnight. It's cloudy outside and we have stayed dry and will continue to throughout much of the day, we are only putting a 10% chance of rain in the forecast. You may see a quick, spotty shower but that's about it. Most of us will stay dry. We are going to be topping out in the mid 70's for the first time in over a week, it will feel nice with some peeks of sunshine later on. Winds are going to be breezy out of the south.

Overnight tonight those lows will fall down into the upper 50's. It's going to be cloudy again and some showers will begin to creep into the area. A frontal boundary will be advancing from the south bringing a broken line of showers starting early in the morning. Those overnight lows will once again only fall down into the upper 50's.

Tomorrow that line of showers will continue to advance south into N. Louisiana. The rain will be hit or miss so we can keep those chances generally low. By the afternoon we should be dried out with some sunshine in the sky. High temperatures will be in the mid 70's and winds are going to shift out of the north after the front passes.
