Bountiful sunshine heading into the weekend

West Monroe, La. - High pressure has moved in behind yesterday's showers, bringing cool, dry air for the rest of the week. Veteran's Day weekend is also shaping up nicely across the ArkLaMiss.

Northerly winds have ushered in much drier air across the region behind yesterday's showers. Temperatures will likely stay slightly below normal through tomorrow (Friday).

A slow warm up is expected through the weekend, with a weak cold front possible by Sunday. Regardless of the front's passage through our area, any impacts will be minimal. An isolated shower or two could be possible immediately along the front Sunday afternoon.

The warming trend resumes through next week with highs in the upper 70s for the second half of next week.
