NEW ORLEANS -- A vigil was held Tuesday night for a girl killed in a New Orleans shooting.
Hundreds of friends, family members and leaders in the community came out to honor the memory of Arabian Gayles.
They lit candles and pled for a stop to the violence in the city.
Police say the 11-year-old was killed by a stray bullet while she was sleeping early Monday morning.
In another incident last week, a 13-month old was killed in a shooting while out with her babysitter.
As of Wednesday afternoon, police are still searching for suspects in both cases.
