ULM's Browning Out for Season

Warhawk's QB Injury to sideline him for the remainder of the 2013 season
MONROE -- The ULM Warhawks have struggled out the gate to open the 2013 season.

A pair of blowout losses to Big 12 squads and a 17 point loss to Tulane have hurt, but perhaps now their biggest loss comes in the form of their senior signal caller, Kolton Browning, The News-Star's Tabby Soignier reports.

After being taken out the game in the 3rd quarter of the Warhawks' loss to the Green Wave, it appears Browning's last snap in a ULM uniform has been prematurely decided. The leg injury that has hampered Browning in the early part of the season is to blame.

The Warhawks will turn to redshirt sophomore Brayle Brown at quarterback as ULM opens Sun Belt play at home on Thursday in a nationally televised game against Western Kentucky.
