Two Injured in Monroe Shooting

Two people were hospitalized, one in serious condition after a shooting Friday afternoon in Monroe.

It happened at 12:30 in the 300 block of King Street.

One of the victims is reported to have a gunshot wound to the lower leg and is described as non-threatening.

The other male victim has been described as sustaining a gunshot wound to the torso and is in serious condition.

Suspect information at this time is very limited and consists of only a dark colored Ford type vehicle.
No other description is available at this time.

Police are not sure if the shooting happened inside the home or on the street or at both locations.
