They Want to Cut Cancer Research?

<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="middle" class="td1"><p class="p1"><span class="s1">It's time to CUT funding for cancer research.&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 1.22;">Absurd?</span><br></span></p></td></tr></tbody></table>

It's time to CUT funding for cancer research.

Absurd?

Well, that's exactly what Congress and the President just allowed to happen. Last week, when the "sequester" went into effect, federal funding for cancer research suffered devastating cuts.

Ask Congress and the President to restore funding for lifesaving cancer research and programs. It only takes one minute to send your message, less time than just one lap around your Relay track.

If these cuts aren't reversed, cancer patients will suffer needlessly:

  • Research programs that could discover that next cure will be eliminated
  • Women will be denied access to mammograms
  • Sick patients will be turned away from clinical trials

Please act now so Congress and the President understand how these huge cuts will hurt people whose lives have been touched by cancer.

Together, we can build hope for the future. Hope for the next drug. Hope for better treatment. Hope to end cancer as we know it.

Thank you,
