Push Underway for More Nurses in Arkansas Public Schools

There's a push to put more nurses in Arkansas public schools.
El Dorado -- There's a push to put more nurses in Arkansas public schools.

A state committee is calling on parents for help.

The Arkansas Public School Health Services Advisory Committee has been looking into the ratio of nurses to students in schools across the state and the care provided by them.

The legislative task force has already gathered information and surveyed current nurses, now it needs your help.

One of the committtee's goals would be asking the legislature to require more nurses for students.

Currently, that ratio requirement in the Natural State is one nurse for every 750 students.
