Protecting Plants from Cold Weather

With temperatures to lower into the 20's tonight plant owners are urged to take precautions.
MONROE - -  The ArkLaMiss is in for cold night tonight, and if you're not careful, it could lead to serious damage to your home garden.

With temperatures to lower into the 20's tonight. Sonny Panzico, owner of Garden Mart, is urging plant owners to take precautions.

"People who have tropical plants, if they don't bring in these plants tonight, there going to definitely die.". You got to protect your tropical plants, but also if you have citrus trees you have to wrap them up."

Panzico says using plastic bags and tying them should do the trick when shielding citrus trees from the cold weather.
