Folks in Monroe voiced concerned mostly about recent burglaries. Chief Quentin Holmes and police supervisors say the best way to prevent crime is to contact police if you see anything suspicious.

Chief Holmes also gave a department update and says becoming accredited in the near future is a priority.

Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo and Councilman Kenneth Wilson also attended the community meeting.
