MONROE -- Tuesdays aren't exactly the most popular days to have a wedding. But this Tuesday, couples across the country are taking advantage of the date.

Tuesday's date is numbered 11-12-2013, a type of date believed to be lucky by couples who choose to get married on sequential dates. A couple in Monroe chose to be married on this rare numbered day.

Katherine and Michael Eskanazy held their beautiful ceremony on the river patio at Warehouse No. 1, where the groom works.

"When we got engaged, he said you pick the date, you decide," said the bride, Katherine. "I thumbed through it and picked 11-12-13 and I thought it would be a good date. Something easy to remember and always cherish."

They took it one step further by getting married at 2:15 p.m. this afternoon, or 14:15 in military -- making their wedding moment fall on 11-12-13 at 14:15.

"There won't be any more consecutive days until 12-13-14. Then it may never occur again, ever," said the groom.

He's right. There is only one more chance to have a sequential wedding date before the century is over on 12/13/2014.

"It will never happen again. It's something exciting we can share with our children and grandchildren," said Katherine.
