Grambling and Southern Ready for 40th Bayou Classic

The annual matchup between the Grambling and Southern will take place this Saturday in New Orleans.

New Orleans -- The annual matchup between the Grambling and Southern will take place this Saturday in New Orleans.

The Bayou Classic brings $50 million in economic impact and 200,000 visitors to the city.

Grambling is entering the game with a 1-9 record, Southern is 7-4 and the SWAC West champions and will be playing in next week's SWAC Championship Game in Houston. 


The Bayou Classic will be televised on KTVE NBC 10 at 1:30 p.m.
