NBC NEWS -- A computer glitch allowed some lucky Delta air lines customers to buy deeply-discounted tickets online Thursday morning.
For about two hours, people looking for certain domestic fares on Delta's own website, as well as various booking sites, got some incredible deals.
Some reportedly bought tickets for as low as $25 for the routes that normally cost several hundred dollars.
The news spread like wildfire through social media, resulting in more and more people logging on looking for bargains.
The problem was quickly discovered and fixed, but the airline said it "will honor any fares purchased at the incorrect price."
The company didn't estimate for how many tickets were sold at super-low prices.
New U.S. Department Of Transportation regulations require airlines to honor any fares offered by mistake.
