Wesley Williams - Meteorologist

Wesley Williams is a Meteorologist for NBC10/FOX14 News.
Wesley Williams joined the KTVE / KARD weather team in March 2013. A native of New Orleans, he left Louisiana in 2006 to study weather at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. During his last two summers in school, Wesley returned to his hometown to intern at a local TV station, WVUE-TV, assisting in weather forecasts and graphics production. He also became a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology with a minor in Geography, it was only a few months later that he got the call that would lead him to his first on-air job in beautiful, cold, and snowy Marquette, Michigan. He worked as the Weekend Meteorologist for WLUC-TV, the local NBC and FOX affiliate, and also reported on news stories during the week. Almost a year later, he was promoted to Morning Meteorologist and became an even more familiar face on Upper Michigan television.

Wesley says he is excited to return to the South, and his home state, to be closer to his family. He enjoys exercising, eating at local restaurants, and observing the great outdoors. And he says his favorite time of year is when he gets to study tropical weather, during hurricane season.

He is a member of both the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society.

You can see him on KTVE 10 News on Friday evenings & Saturdays. Got a story idea or a news tip? Taken any photos of ArkLaMiss weather or nature?
