UPDATE: Spring Storm Leave Thousands Without Power

The line of severe storms making its way through the ArkLaMiss has left thousands in the dark.

UPDATE: 10:00 a.m -- Governor Beebe has authorized the Arkansas National Guard to help with security and traffic control as crews restore power in Ouachita County.



UPDATE 9:25 A.M. -- Entergy is working to restore power to thousands of customers in Arkansas.

26,000 customers remain without power after a line of severe storms rolled through the area.

Columbia and Ouachita Counties are among the counties in the state with the highest number of outages. 


UPDATE 7:20 a.m.  --  Entergy is still showing that majority of the outages are in the Arkansas area.

As of this morning, Entergy Arkansas reports 42,376 customer are without power.

Ouachita and Columbia Counties have the highest number of outages in the state.

Update 2:40 AM – Entergy is still showing that majority of the outages are in the Arkansas area.

As of this morning, Entergy reports 49,000 customer are without power. 

In South Arkansas, Columbia County has about 4,900 without power; Ouachita County had more than 6,500 customers without power and approximately 1,400 customers without power in Union County.

Most of the outages are in Arkansas.

Entergy Arkansas is reporting nearly 46,000 customers are without power.

In south Arkansas, Columbia County had over 4800 customers without power, Ouachita County had over 6000 customers without power and 1400 are without power in Union County.
