On Monday the Ethics Commission said Darr agreed to pay $11,000 in fines to settle claims that he misspent campaign funds and failed to keep complete records.

Darr told KARK Tuesday he plans to complete his term that ends in January 2015.

"The mistakes I made have been well documented," Darr says "My focus now is on making things right with the people of Arkansas."




Little Rock -- The Democratic Party of Arkansas is calling on Republican Lt. Gov. Mark Darr to resign.

This after the Ethics Commission said Darr agreed to pay $11,000 in fines to settle claims that he misspent campaign funds and failed to keep complete records.

The head of the state Ethics Commission said Monday that commissioners found probable cause that Darr violated portions of the Arkansas code 11 times, dating back to his 2010 run for office.
