University Health Conway Hosts Flag Ceremony

Honoring its 8 Educational Partner Institutions

Monroe -- In partnership with the Greater Ouachita Parish Lions Club’s “Flags over Ouachita” program, University Health Conway will host a dedication ceremony of its 8 educational partners’ school flags, which are Career Technical College, Louisiana Delta Community College, Grambling State University, Louisiana Tech University, Bossier Parrish Community College, Louisiana State University Shreveport School of Medicine, Texas Wesleyen University, and the University of Louisiana at Monroe. The flags will be flying proudly, along with the Louisiana, United States and Lions Club flags.

Representatives from each school will hoist their flags, one by one, while one of the LSU Shreveport School of Medicine’s resident physicians plays the violin to commemorate the dedication ceremony. As an academic hospital, educational partnerships are at the core of University Health’s philosophy of providing state-of-the-art medical care in a learning environment.

We hope that you will join in the festivities on Thursday, July 24th at 10:00 a.m. in front of the hospital’s covered drive right off of 4864 Jackson Street. It is sure to be a momentous occasion!
