Toyota Recalls 1.9 Million Prius Vehicles

Toyota is recalling 1.9 million hybrid Prius cars globally for a software glitch that could cause them to stall.
NBC News -- Toyota is recalling about 1.9 million Prius vehicles worldwide to fix a software flaw in their hybrid system, that could damage the system and cause sudden stop.

Of the 1.9 million Prius hybrids to be recalled, Toyota will recall 997,000 in Japan, 713,000 in North America, 130,000 in Europe and the rest in Asia, the Middle East and other regions.

There haven't been any reports of injuries because of the software problem, a Toyota spokeswoman said.
