Sheriff’s Office in Baton Rouge Looking Woman Taken By Ex-Boyfriend

East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a woman taken earlier today by her ex-boyfriend, after he broke into her home early Monday morning.

Baton Rouge, La. -- East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a woman taken earlier today by her ex-boyfriend, after he broke into her home early this morning.

According to reports, Jeremiah Rodriguez, 44,  allegedly broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend early Monday morning.

He held 33-year-old Viscaacuba James and her three children and two cousins at gunpoint before leaving the residence with James at noon. Rodriguez is reportedly driving a silver 2001 Chrysler Concord.

He may be headed to the New Orleans area. Rodriguez is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information as to Rodriguez or James’s whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement immediately.
