Classified staff for the district got a 1.8 percent increase in their salary.
It's been a little over three years since there has been any increase in pay, for the
Superintendent for the El Dorado School System, Bob Watson, says that the money for the raises came from several sources.
"Money from the state, foundation funding, and then there is local tax money. It's a combination of those two things that generates the money we have to do this."
Watson says that this payment increase is a way for the board to show the faculty their appreciation.
