In Morehouse Parish, a town hall-style meeting was held to talk about a budget reduction plan for schools. Superintendent George Noflin says he wants as much community input as possible.
Under consideration is a reduction in work force, school consolidation, and adjusting the months of service for staff members..
"We've tried. Various taxes that have not passed, charter schools, retirement... Some tough decisions," says Nolfin.
The next meeting of the Morehouse Parish School Board is set for March 11th
