New Orleans Cop Arrested for Child Porn

54-year-old Bradley Wax, of 20 Camden Court in Mandeville, was arrested Wednesday and charged with 38 counts of pornography involving juveniles.
(Mandeville, LA) April 23-A New Orleans Police Department officer has been put behind bars for possessing child pornography, announced Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.

54-year-old Bradley Wax, of 20 Camden Court in Mandeville, was arrested Wednesday and charged with 38 counts of pornography involving juveniles.  The arrest is a result of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s Cyber Crime Unit, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations.

An online undercover operation led investigators to execute a search warrant on Wax’s residence in January.  After forensic analysis was conducted on computers and other electronic devices seized during the warrant, investigators determined Wax was in possession of child pornography.

Wax was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail without incident.  If convicted, he faces 20 years in prison on each count of child pornography.

As internet crimes escalate, Attorney General Buddy Caldwell is allocating resources to vigorously monitor, arrest, and prosecute online child predators. The Attorney General’s Cyber Crime Unit has investigated thousands of computer crimes which have victimized children from infants to 17 years of age.
